Mangadar Situmorang, Ph.D. has been a lecturer in the Department of International Relations of Parahyangan Catholic University since 1989. He was the Head of Parahyangan Centre for International Studies (PACIS) and the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Other than teaching and conducting research on conflict resolution, international organization and Indonesian politics, he actively writes in academic journals and newspapers, and also a member of Asosiasi ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia (AIHII), the Community of East Asia Scholars (CEAS), and the academic forum for a peaceful Papua.
